CUSTOM MODEL PRICES TO CHANGE

NEW PRICES EFFECTIVE AS OF JANUARY 1, 2008

We try to keep all our prices either competative or the lowest available. Due to recent increases in our cost to provide and ship custom models, we have restructured our prices. Our custom pricing has only three fixed tiers now. This has actually resulted in a lower price for 18"-22" models (previously $229). Shipping costs have increased slightly. However, if you shop around and compare, you will find that our custom pricing is still very competative and, in most cases, lower than our major competators like Warplanes.com and Flytlinemodels.com.


CUSTOMERS WITH EXISTING PRICE QUOTES

We will honor all quotes dated November, 2007 or later that have not expired. If you were given a quote for a custom project prior November, 2007 or your quote has expired,  and you still want to have the model(s) made, we will do our best to give you a quote that is the same or close to the price you were quoted before.


SHIPPING SERVICES UPGRADED TO EMS TO ALL DESTINATIONS

ALL CUSTOM MODELS will continue to be shipped using international EMS services. This feature of our services makes us the better choice over the very few competators that offer lower prices. They make statements like "$99, That's as low as it gets...", but they don't tell you how they are going to ship your model and its probably not EMS.

NOTE: You should always be cautious of websites that don't offer a contact phone number or at least a mailing address.

WARPLANES.COM
Warplanes.com prices START at $399.95 plus shipping. For this price, they provide a model airplane with an approximate wingspan of 18". They do not have this price posted on their website, but you can contact them and find out for yourself. They sometimes run sales at around 20% off.


MOTIONMODELS.COM
Motionmodels.com custom prices START at $300 plus shipping for custom models up to 12" long. Their prices increase $25 for every 2" thereafter. For example, a 14" long model costs $325, 16" long models are $350, and so on. Like Warplanes.com, they do not have these prices posted on their website, but you can contact them and find out for yourself.

AVIATION-MODELS.COM
Aviation-Models.com custom prices START at $274.95 plus shipping for custom with a wingspan "of about 16", per their website. A comparable sized model would cost $199 if ordered from us. It does not say on their website how much a smaller or larger model would cost.


ALM MODELS
ALM Models custom prices START at $295 plus shipping for custom with a wingspan "of about 20", per their website. A comparable sized model would cost $249 if ordered from us.They do not offer any information regarding models of smaller, more common sizes.

SCALE CRAFT MODELS
Scale Craft custom prices START at $199 plus shipping for custom airplane, the size is not stated. Although we would assume this to be the price for a small, probably 12" model, you would have to contact Scale Craft to verify that. A comparable sized model would cost $149 if ordered from us.They do not offer any information regarding models of smaller, more common sizes.
